Being an Academic entity, the KSTA proposes a scheme of Fellowships, Memberships and Emeritus Consultants to recognise contributions of academicians, researchers, engineers, technologists in institutions and industry as well as promising youth professionals to science & technology, science communication/popularisation and dissemination. Also, to promote and science and technology and popularise science in the State, the KSTA would collaborate with Institutions, public, corporate and private, with similar interests and programmes.
This provision is being made to bring into fold of the Academy, leading Scientists & Technologists, for their proven contributions. Meant only for recognising excellence in the areas of Science &Technology, the mechanism is to be used with due diligence to maintain the standing of the Academy.
