Focal theme: Science and Technology for “Sustainable Development with Women Empowerment”.

108th edition of the Indian Science Congress will be held at R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur, Maharashtra during January 3- 7, 2022. ISC is the largest national event with participation of more than 12,000 delegates, Nobel laureates and eminent scientist, faculty members and researchers from India and abroad. Invited talks and selected papers will be presented in symposia of different sections viz., Agriculture & Forestry, Animal, Veternary and Fishery Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth System Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Environmental Sciences, ICT, Material Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Biotechnology and Plant Sciences.

Children Science Congress

As a part of ISC, the Children Science Congress (Rashtriya Kishore Vaigyanik Sammelan) is organised simultaneously to provide an opportunity to children. This three day event comprise of invited talks by renowned scientists, science exhibition, science quizzes and other competitions.

Women Science Congress

Women Science Congress is being orgnised as a part of ISC to showcase the contribution of women in science and technology. Participation is by registration and there is no separate registration fee to attend.

ISCA Awards

ISCA has initiated many awards to honour and encourage scientists in India. There are more than 40 awards/Lectures/Fellowships.

Young Scientists Award

To encourage young scientists, ISCA has introduced number of awards in different disciplines. These awards carry a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a certificate of merit

Best Poster Award

ISCA has instituted two best poster awards in each section. These awards carry a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- and a certificate of merit.
