Virtual   laboratory   provides   an   opportunity   to students   to   perform   experiments   using   off- line    or    online    sources    without    having    the equipments    at    their    end.    It    presents    an unique   opportunity   to   boost   the   quality   of education,      deepen      understanding,      and provide    the    necessary    practical    skills    to young       minds       through       cost       effective outreach and distance learning activities
ViRTUAL LAB
The    Online    Labs    is    an    educational    initiative pioneered    by    Amrita    CREATE,    the    Center    for Research      in      Advanced      Technologies      for Education    at    Amrita    University    in    partnership with    CDAC,    Mumbai;    under    a    research    grant from   the   Ministry   of   Electronics   and   Information Technology,   Government   of   India.     The   lab   hosts experiments   in   Physical,   Chemical   and   Biology sciences     which     are     developed     by     Amrita CREATE, Amrita   University   for   the   students   from classes     9     to     12     with     content     aligned     to NCERT/CBSE    and    State    Board    Syllabus.    The Mathematics        and        English        lessons        are developed   by   CDAC   Mumbai.      The   online   labs are    hosted    at    www.olabs.edu.in.        Access    to Online      Labs      is      free      for      Schools      upon registration.
An    Initiative    of    Ministry    of    Human    Resource Development     (MHRD)     Under     the     National Mission   on   Education   through   ICT.   These Virtual Labs      would      cater      to      students      at      the undergraduate    level,    post    graduate    level    as well    as    to    research    scholars    and    help    the students     in     learning     basic     and     advanced concepts      through      remote      experimentation. Students   can   avail   the various   tools   for   learning, including      additional      web-resources,      video- lectures,     animated     demonstrations     and     self evaluation.
The   Go-Lab   offers   a   wide   range   of   online tools    to   work    on    scientific    problems    in    a virtual    environment.    Teachers    can    utilize online   laboratories   and   supporting   learning applications      to      build      Inquiry      Learning Spaces      customized      virtual      labs.      They enable     the     students     to     simulate     real equipment    and    experiments    for    different science       domains       such       as       Physics, Astronomy,   Chemistry,   Biology,   Geography, and    Math.    Moreover,    here    you    can    find inquiry     learning     applications,     which     will support      the      students      in      formulating research       questions       and       hypotheses, conducting      scientific      experiments,      and drawing conclusions.
BioInteractive,   a   award-winning   multimedia   resources,   including   apps, animations,     videos,     interactives,     and     virtual     labs,     to     bring     the excitement   of   scientific   discovery   into   classroom.   The   virtual   labs   are fully      interactive      simulations      in      which      students      can      perform experiments,    collect    data,    and    answer    questions    to    assess    their understanding.   The   labs   combine   animations,   illustrations,   and   videos to   convey   key   information   and   engage   students   in   the   process   of science.
The   ChemCollective   is   developed   by   a   group   of faculty   and   staff   at   Carnegie   Mellon,   Pittsburgh, USA.    It    is    a    collection    of    virtual    labs    scenario- based    learning    activities    tutorials    and    concept tests    content.    Students    can    review    and    learn chemistry      concepts      using      our     virtual      labs,        simulations, and tutorials.
The   American   Chemical   Society   is   a   congressionally chartered      independent      membership      organization which   represents   professionals   at   all   degree   levels   and in    all    fields    of    the    chemical    sciences.    With    nearly 157,000   members,   ACS   is   the   world’s   largest   scientific society    and    one    of    the    world’s    leading    sources    of authoritative scientific information.
