KSTA - SDP Fellowship for Science Degree Students
Objective 	To encourage meritorious basic science degree students who are studying in colleges of 114 backward taluks identified by Prof. D.M. Nanjundappa Comittee. Fellowship 	218 fellowships for Kalaburagi division ; 174 for Belagavi division ; 218  for Bengaluru division; 200 for Mysuru division 	Rs. 10,000/- per student per year   Eligibility 	Students enrolled for science degree courses with a combination comprising of any two basic science subjects viz., Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics & Mathematics  	First Year: Students enrolled for science degree courses with not less than 70% marks (60% for Kalaburgi division) in PUC. 	Second Year: Students who are studying in 2nd year Degree securing not less than 70% marks (60% for Kalaburgi division)in first year degree 	Third Year:  Students who are studying in 3rd year Degree securing not less than 70% marks (60% for Kalaburgi division) in second year degree  Selection 	List of eligible students will be obtained from the Principals of all the science colleges in 114 backward taluks. 	Students will be selected based on the merit and a fellowship amount of Rs. 10,000/- will be provided. 	Those who got regular KSTA fellowship will not be consider for KSTA - SDP fellowship.

The selected sudents will get the fellowship amount directly to their account
